Behind ItsNotTrash

I started It's Not Trash because I'm a fixer. I love fixing things and making them better. About a year into the business I recruited my parents to run a branch in NorCal. Together about 70% of everything we make is recycled. I find my materials in alley's here in Los Angeles and they find their's through demolition of decks and fences in NorCal. We are conscientious capitalists. Companies design things to break on purpose today it's called "built in obsolescence". If we take all of the broken shit and furniture and redesigned it so it won't break again we have fixed a major problem. We enjoy selling people back their trash in a form that will never become trash again, at the same price they payed for the trash in the first place. We allow everyday people like you and I who can only afford to shop at cheap furniture stores the ability to buy a quality piece of furniture that is structurally sound that is also unique and one of a kind. We feel like the luckiest family ever, we get to do our part in saving the planet by making furniture out of trash and make a great living too.

WE CHOOSE TO SEE THINGS FOR WHAT THEY CAN BE NOT WHAT THEY ARE, IT'S NOT TRASH.
